Sally has been in private practice for twenty years seeing clients face to face in London and the world over via the net.
Her professional specialism is helping her clients to resolve and release their limiting negative beliefs however they show up in their life from phobias; emotional eating; social anxiety; loss of confidence; panic attacks to procrastination and other self sabotaging behaviour.
She is highly experienced working to resolve PSTD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) following trauma including childhood trauma. She has co-authored two self-help books focussing on resolving emotional eating and making better decision about food for Hammersmith Books, London.
They are ‘7 Simple Steps to Stop Emotional Eating’ and ‘How to Feel Differently about Food’. She is currently completely her first solo title ‘The Getting of Resilience from the inside out’ for publication later this year. Now approaching her mid-60’s Sally is often in demand for her expert opinion on human behaviour and is frequently quoted in the international press, magazines, BBC Radio and influential on-line media platforms. Prior to becoming a therapist Sally worked as a journalist and line-producer in film and television production.
She was a single mum from her mid-30s and knows first-hand how hard it can be to juggle the demands of work and a child and maintain one’s own dreams. Sally met her second husband twenty years ago in the Lonely Hearts column of The Guardian newspaper ‘Soulmates.’ Sally is happy to report second time round is what she wished she’d found for herself all those years ago.
