Psychotherapist, UK
Hello and welcome…
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist who specialises in working with midlife women.
Trying to manage the symptoms of perimenopause whilst juggling multiple responsibilities can really take its toll, especially on our mental health. Whatever life or menopause throws at us if we can find meaning and purpose it will help us to see things through and ultimately grow as people. I help women to do this.
I set up A Meaningful Midlife to share what I have learned and to help women navigate this life stage. My blog, Midlife Musings, is regularly updated with thoughts and tips. It is available on my website and I also post on the Perimenopause Hub.
I bring to my work the rich experience I have gained since qualifying with a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy in 2008. Midlife and menopause can trigger a range of mental health challenges and existential questions and having a broad experience of issues such as relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, abuse, loss etc. has been invaluable.
